Please contact our office to schedule an appointment.  A letter of medical necessity or prescription is needed from your doctor telling us what we need to do for you and why we need to do it.  Your insurance company requires this in order to process your claim.

Appointments for new prostheses and new scleral shell prostheses start at 9:00 a.m. and we are usually done around 4:00 p.m.  There are two breaks during the day.  The first break is usually between 10:00 and 10:30 for 1.5 hours.  The second break is between 1:00 and 2:00 for 1.5 hours. There is a good restaurant in our building and there are plenty of other options for food. The Galleria shopping mall is within walking distance across the street.

We will have you return in about one month to see how you are doing, to check your socket and to make any adjustments.  If adjustments need to be made, the follow-up appointments can take as long as 3.5 hours and they start between 10:30 and 11:00 a.m.  Adjustments are free of charge for 8 weeks from the day your prosthesis is made.

Appointments for custom expansion conformers usually start at 10:30 or 11:00 a.m. and we are done by around 2:30 p.m.  There is one break that starts around 11:00 or 11:30 for 2.5 hours.
